The objective of this project is to further develop high performance biobased polymers that can be used as engineering plastics in demanding applications like packaging, electronics, automotive, and construction materials.

In this project the emphasis will be on preparing (novel) biobased, isoidide containing polyesters on sufficiently large scale to allow for a broad range of property determinations. This will enable the involved companies to assess the potential applications and markets.
